1About the Journal

The International Journal of Digital Society (IJDS) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by NextGenIQ Press. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for advancing research at the intersection of digital technologies, society, culture, institutions, and public life.

IJDS aims to connect developments in emerging technologies with social theory, public policy, and lived experience. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and applied research that examines how digital technologies influence communities, citizenship, work, education, media, governance, and social inequality.

Particular attention is given to research addressing platform society, social media, misinformation, digital inclusion and literacy, e-government and digital public services, algorithmic governance, privacy and data rights, artificial intelligence and society, and the social dimensions of smart cities.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary research involving sociology, communication and media studies, political science, law, public administration, education, psychology, computer science, information science, and related disciplines.

IJDS seeks contributions from researchers, academics, practitioners, civil-society organizations, and policymakers worldwide.
