Privacy
What personal data this site collects, why, and how long it is kept.
Last updated . This policy applies to every NextGenIQ Press journal and series.
What we collect
This site collects personal data in three places, and nowhere else:
- Account and submission data — name, email, affiliation, ORCID and manuscript files — held in the editorial system in order to operate peer review.
- Email alert subscriptions — your address and which alerts you chose, held until you unsubscribe.
- Messages you send through the contact form or a journal proposal — held so that we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence.
What we do not do
There is no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across sites. We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Legal basis and retention
Submission and review data are processed to perform the publishing agreement with authors and are retained as part of the permanent record of the editorial process. Alert subscriptions are processed on consent and deleted when you unsubscribe. Contact messages are retained for two years.
Your rights
Write to contact@nextgeniqpress.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. One limit applies: the metadata of a published article — authors, affiliations, the article itself — is part of the scholarly record and cannot be withdrawn. That is the point of publishing it.
Processors
Data is held on servers we operate. We use a transactional email provider to deliver notifications and confirmations, which processes recipient addresses on our behalf.
