1About the Journal

The International Journal of Quantum Technologies (IJQT) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by NextGenIQ Press. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for advancing research on quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum sensing, and the engineering of quantum systems.

IJQT aims to connect advances in quantum science with the design, implementation, and application of quantum technologies. The journal welcomes theoretical, experimental, computational, and applied research that moves quantum technologies from fundamental principles towards practical systems.

Particular attention is given to research addressing quantum hardware and qubit technologies, quantum algorithms and software, quantum error correction, quantum networks and the quantum internet, quantum key distribution, quantum sensing and metrology, quantum machine learning, and post-quantum cryptography.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary research involving physics, computer science, electrical engineering, materials science, mathematics, chemistry, and related disciplines.

IJQT seeks contributions from researchers, academics, engineers, industry professionals, and policymakers worldwide.

2Journal Objectives

The journal aims to:

  • Advance theoretical and practical understanding of quantum technologies.
  • Promote interdisciplinary research connecting quantum science with engineering and computing.
  • Examine the technological, economic, and societal implications of quantum technologies.
  • Encourage reproducible, verifiable, and well-benchmarked quantum research.
  • Provide an international platform for researchers and practitioners.
